About the event
Black Farm Street Inc. will officially kick off work on the Allen Homes Community Garden — a project shaped by resident voices and built for community connection.
This garden is about more than growing food. It’s about creating a shared space for neighbors to gather, learn, play, and grow together. Planned updates include raised garden beds, irrigation, shaded areas for education and gatherings, public art, and improvements to the basketball court, all guided by input from Allen Homes residents.
We’re grateful to be doing this work alongside Augusta Locally Grown, the City of Augusta Housing & Community Development Department, and the Greater Augusta Arts Council.
